T.Rajya Lakshmi v. The State Of Andhra Pradesh,
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.26047 of 2017 ORDER:
This Writ Petition was filed challenging the action of the respondents in not allowing the petitioner to conduct marriages and functions at Pushpagiri Mutt, Tirumala, Chittoor District. 2.
The petitioner is an un-employee, who belongs to B.C community. She started Tirumala Marriage Services at Tirupathi to arrange Marriage Functions within the limits of Tirupathi and Tirumala to the general public. When she approached the 3rd respondent for grant of permission to conduct marriages, the 3rd respondent allotted contract in her favour to conduct marriages and functions at Pushpagiri Mutt, Tirumala, for a period of two years from 04.03.2016 to 04.03.2018 on payment of Rs.45,000/- towards rent per day. When the 3rd respondent did not allow her to conduct marriages, the present Writ Petition was filed on 03.08.2017.
3.
Now, the period of contract granted to the petitioner is over and moreover the relationship of the petitioner with the 3rd respondent does not come within the purview of Article 226 of the Constitution of India. Hence, on both grounds, the Writ Petition is dismissed.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. ________________________________ A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO, J APRIL 26, 2018 YVL
