THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.20019 OF 2017 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:- "to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, to declare the inaction of the respondent authorities in granting Building permission in plot bearing No.6, Sy.No.591, 595 and 596 admeasuring 720 Sq.yds., situated at Eswarapuri Colony, Kapra Village, Keesara Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, in spite of complying with all the mandatory requirements as being illegal, arbitrary, unjust and discriminatory." 2.

The main grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent authorities are not granting building permission in the aforementioned plot even though she complied with all the mandatory requirements and hence, prays to direct the respondent authorities to grant building permission.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, the respondent authorities are hereby directed to consider the application, 15.11.2016, of the petitioner for grant of building permission and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
