ORDER

This petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioner/accused seeking to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.92 of 2016 of Mylavaram Police Station, Krishna District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 116, 417, 306, 376 IPC r/w Sec.3(i)(ii)(s)(w) of SCs & STs (POA) Act, 2015, against him. 2.

It is alleged in the complaint that the accused induced the daughter of de facto complainant on the pretext of love and marriage and committed sexual assault on her and subsequently, refused to marry the victim and he also abused the victim and the de facto complainant in filthy language in the name of their caste.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the State and perused the material on record.

4. A perusal of the complaint would show that there are serious allegations against the petitioner/accused. Truth or otherwise of the allegations can only be decided during the course of trial. Therefore, this is not a fit case where the proceedings against the petitioner can be quashed.
