HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION NO. 4305 OF 2016 ORDER:
Petitioners claim that they were appointed as Veternary Hospital Attendants through Consultancy Services in the year 2006 and have been continued to work up to 5.1.2014. The grievance of the petitioners is that the respondents 2 & 3 are not considering the petitioners' candidature for the post of Veterinary Hospital Attendants and seek a direction to consider and appoint the petitioners as Veternary Assistants at Khammam District.
2. The averments made in the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition disclose that the petitioners seek appointment in the services of the State of Telangana. The jurisdiction to adjudicate service matters relating to employment in the State Government are vested with the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal constituted under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985. Thus aggrieved party shall have to first invoke the jurisdiction of the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal and cannot invoke the jurisdiction of this Court directly without exhausting the said remedy.
3. In view of the above, the Writ Petition is dismissed leaving it open to work out their remedies before the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal constituted under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
