HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN WRIT PETITON No.30446 OF 2010 ORDER: (per Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) The relief sought for in the Writ Petition is to direct the respondents not to interfere with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the shops situated in Kosgi village and Mandal till the expiry of the resolution passed on 20.07.2008. The resolution passed by the trustee of Sri Anjaneyaswamy temple, Kosgi village and Mandal is to lease the shops, conferring a right to use them, in favour of the person name therein for a period of five years; and, after five years, a decision would be taken on the order of the Endowments Commissioner. The five year period, stipulated in the resolution dated 20.07.2008, expired on 20.07.2013.

It is evident, therefore, that the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive necessitating any further adjudication by this Court. The Writ Petition has become infructuous and is, accordingly, dismissed. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
