wp_25864_2017 ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This Writ Petition is filed assailing order dated 27-08-2012 in O.A.No. 5188 of 2010 on the file of the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal at Hyderabad.

From the perusal of the record, it is evident that the order sought to be impugned in this Writ Petition was passed as far back as 27-08-2012 and nearly five years have lapsed since then and the petitioner has not even offered a semblance of explanation for the long delay in approaching this Court. Though specific period of limitation is not prescribed for filing Writ Petition, the law is well settled that a party, if aggrieved by orders of lower Courts or Tribunals, cannot be permitted to avail the remedy under Article 226 of the Constitution of India at his leisure seeking to revive stale claims. In the absence of any explanation whatsoever for the inordinate delay in the petitioner approaching this Court, we are not inclined to entertain this Writ Petition. 3.
The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed only on the ground of laches. 4.
As a sequel to dismissal of the Writ Petition, W.P.M.P.No. 32070 of 2017 shall stand dismissed as infructuous.
