ORDER

This writ petition is filed with the following prayer: "to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction declaring the inaction of the 3rd respondent/Inspector of Endowments, Ongole Division, Prakasam District in not administering to the petitioner No.1 the oath of office and secrecy as single trustee of the Thottempudivari Dharmadayam, Chinta Thopu, Kakuturi Varipalem Village, Tangtur Mandal, Prakasam District vide proceedings of the respondent/Deputy Commissioner, Endowments, Guntur in Rc.No.A5/3226/10 dated 12.10.2010 as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the provisions of the Act No.30/87 and consequently direct respondent No.3 to administer to the petitioner the said oath of office and secrecy as single trustee of Thottempudi vari Dharmadaya Chinta Thopu, Kakuturivaripalem village, Tangtur Mandal, Prakasam District and pass such other order or orders".

The 1st petitioner was appointed as Single Trustee to the 2nd petitioner Institution for a period of two years on 12.10.2010. Since the said period had expired by afflux of time, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication and the writ petition has become infructuous.

In that view of the matter, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand dismissed. ________________ M.S.K.JAISWAL,J 13th October, 2017 sj
