O R D E R

The complaint of the petitioners in this case was that the police authorities

were harassing them in connection with their property dispute relating to 746 square yards in Sy.No.192, Singadikunta, Kavadiguda, Hyderabad. The Inspector of Police, Chikkadpally Police Station, Hyderabad, furnished written instructions dated 16.06.2015 to the office of the learned Government Pleader for Home stating that one Anjaneyulu Goud lodged a complaint with the Chikkadpally Police Station, Hyderabad, against the petitioners herein whereupon Crime No.143 of 2012 was registered under Sections 406, 420, 468 and 471 IPC on the file of the said police station. Investigation was said to have been taken up in the matter.

In the light of the aforestated facts, the petitioners cannot complain of interference by the police authorities. As they are said to be involved in a criminal offence, the police are bound to summon and examine them in connection therewith. Needless to state, the police would have to abide by the due procedure laid down by law in this regard.
