When the matter came up for hearing, learned Standing Counsel for respondents that during the pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner was posted as in-charge Deputy Executive Engineer and that therefore, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. The said fact is not disputed by the learned counsel for petitioner.

Recording the above submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
