THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE GUDISEVA SHYAM PRASAD WRIT PETITION No.2994 of 2016 ORDER :

This writ petition is filed for Writ of Mandamus to declare the impugned action of the respondent No.2 and 3 in harassing/threatening the petitioner and his family members forcing the petitioner to marry the unofficial respondent No.4 otherwise respondent No.2 and 3 will register the SC/ST case against the petitioner, as illegal and to restrain them to interfere in the matters between the parties.

Respondent No.2 has filed counter and reports ready. It appears that the petitioner is not interested to prosecute the case. Since there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner on previous occasions, the matter is posted under the caption 'for dismissal". Even now, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner and, therefore, this Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. 3.

The interim order granted in this writ petition stands vacated.

The Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
