HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.18771 & 18772 OF 2018 COMMON ORDER :
Since the subject matter and parties of both the writ petitions are one and the same, both the matters are heard together and disposed of by this common order. The case of the petitioners is that 2nd petitioner was granted recognition by the 4th respondent-National Council for Teacher Education vide proceedings dated 03.03.2018, and thereafter petitioner made application on 12.03.2018 to the 1st respondent for grant of permission under Section 20 of the Telangana Education Act, 1982 and application on 07.05.2018 to the 2nd respondent for grant of affiliation. As no action has been taken on the same, present writ petition is filed.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 3 and Sri K.Ramakanth Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for the 4th respondent.
Since the application for permission under Section 20 of the Act and application for affiliation, are already pending before the competent authority, and since it is stated that the Government called for information with regard to petitioner college from the Commissioner & Director of School Education (T)-3rd respondent vide proceedings dated
09.04.2018 and in pursuance of the same, petitioner also submitted necessary information on 13.04.2018, the 1st and 2nd respondents are directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 12.03.2018 for grant of permission under Section 20 of the Act and application dated 07.05.2018 for grant of affiliation, in accordance with law and take action within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
Accordingly, both the writ petitions are disposed of. No order as to costs.
