THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.32151 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India is filed seeking a direction to respondents 2 to 4 to proceed with the investigation in FIR No.700 of 2015 and take action against the accused therein.

The grievance of the petitioner is that on 04.12.2015 at about 10.50 hours, when the petitioner was working at Shop No.46 of Indira Gandhi Stadium, the accused, V. Apparao and Kiran, came there and abused the petitioner in the name of his caste and beat him. The petitioner gave a complaint on the accused to the 4th respondent and the same was registered as FIR No.700 of 2015, dated 15.12.2015, for the offence punishable under Sections 323, 341, 506 read with 34 IPC and Section 3(1)(x) of the SC, ST (POA) Act, but till now no action was taken against the accused.

Considering the grievance of the petitioner, the 4th respondent is directed to complete the investigation in FIR No.700 of 2015, dated 15.12.2015, as expeditiously as possible and file a final report, if any, either way in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed. ____________________ RAJA ELANGO,J Date: 20th October, 2016 KL
