Heard both sides.

The prayer sought in the Writ Petition is as under: "... to issue a writ, order or direction particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents-police in interfering with the civil disputes between the petitioners and the respondent No.4 as illegal and ultra vires to the provisions of the Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India besides directing not to interfere with the civil disputes."

The basic grievance of the petitioners in the Writ Petition is that respondent Nos. 2 and 3 are interfering in the civil disputes between the petitioners and respondent No.4 and in the process, in collusion with respondent No.4, they are pressurizing the petitioners to part with the subject property. 4.

Respondent No.2 filed a counter affidavit denying the allegations made in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition and specifically stating that they have nothing to do with the disputes pending between the petitioners and respondent No.4 and they never called the petitioners to the Police Station at any time much less daily as alleged in the writ

affidavit and never prevented the petitioners from entering into the subject property.

In the light of the said specific averment made in the counter affidavit by respondent No.2, this Court is of the opinion that no further orders are required in the Writ Petition. 6.

Accordingly, Writ Petition is closed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
