THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.39301 of 2016 ORDER:

The writ petition is filed by the petitioners seeking a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents 1 to 3 in summoning the petitioners to the police station under the guise of conducting family counselling and directing to comply with the illegal demands of the respondent No.6 and further threatening to arrest the petitioners by registering the criminal complaints based on the complaint of the respondent No.6 as illegal and arbitrary, and consequently to direct the respondents not to arrest the petitioners in the event of registration of crime against the petitioners based on the complaint submitted by the respondent No.6.

Heard and perused the material.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the respondents 1 to 3 are frequently calling the petitioners to the police station in the guise of investigation in relation to the complaint lodged by the respondent No.6 and that the respondents 1 to 3 are threatening the petitioners to meet the illegal demands of the respondent No.6 and as such, prays this Court to direct the respondents 1 to 3 not to arrest the petitioners in the event of registration of crime against the petitioners based on the complaint lodged by the respondent No.6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondents 1 to 3 are directed not to interfere with the affairs of the petitioners and they are further directed not to arrest the petitioners in the event of registration of crime against the petitioners based on the complaint lodged by the respondent No.6.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any shall also stand disposed of. _____________________ JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO 15.11.2016 pln
