This criminal petition is filed for quash of the proceedings in Cr.No.150 of 2013, against the petitioners, who are A2 and A3, on the file of the Station House Officer, Atmakur Police Station, Mahabubnagar District. The offences alleged are under Sections 498-A and 109 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The learned Public Prosecutor produced a letter addressed by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Atmakur Police Station, Mahabubnagar District dated 22.11.2018 stating that the case has been compromised before the Lok Adalat on 26.07.2014.

In the light of the above, this Court opines that no further orders are required to be passed in this criminal petition. The criminal petition is closed. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. __________ T. RAJANI, J November 30, 2018 DSK
