Since the subject matter of these writ petitions is similar, they are being disposed of by this common order.

The petitioners question endorsements, dated 18-06-2014 issued by the 3rd respondent rejecting the petitioners' applications for grant of pattadar pass books and title deeds.

I have already held in W.P.No.13933 of 2015, dated 03-06-2015 that under Section 5(5) of the A.P.Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Book Act, 1971 (for short 'the Act'), the petitioner therein has an effective alternative remedy and there is no reason to entertain the present writ petitions by bypassing the same. For the same reasons as set out in W.P.No.13933 of 2015, dated 03-06-2015, this writ petition is also disposed of giving liberty to the petitioners to file appeals before competent authority.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the appeals are required to be filed within sixty days and the said sixty days time is already expired.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, two weeks from today is granted to the petitioners to prefer appeals before competent authority and if the petitioners file appeals within two weeks from today, the competent authority shall entertain the said appeals without raising any objection with regard to limitation. Accordingly, the writ petitions are disposed of. No order as to costs. The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in these writ petitions shall stand closed.
