THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.AMARNATH GOUD CRIMINAL PETITION No.6312 of 2019 O R D E R :

The petitioner, who is accused in COR.No.120 of 2019 of Prohibition and Excise Police Station Quthbullapur, Medchal, Malkajgiri District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 8 (c) read with 22(c) of NDPS Act, 1985, has filed this petition under Sections 437 and 439 seeking bail. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/ accused and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State and perused the material on record.

As seen from the allegations made in the complaint, prima facie it appears that the petitioner is involved in the commission of offence. In this case, investigation is going on and charge-sheet is yet to be filed. In view of the serious nature of allegations levelled against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
