THE HONOURABLE Dr.JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO I.A.Nos.1 to 3 of 2018 in/and Criminal Petition No.1945 of 2017 ORDER :

The petitioner is the A.1 in C.C.No.43 of 2012 on the file of the XXII Addl.Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad, outcome of Cr.No.294 of 2005 of Women Police Station, CCS, D.D. Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and 406IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The petition I.A.No.3 of 2018, filed by one Mir Imad Uddin Ali Khan seeking to permit General Power of Attorney (for short, 'GPA') to represent the petitioner-A.1, is allowed.

The authorized GPA holder for the petitioner/ A.1 and the defactocomplainant along with their counsel present before the Court and stated that they have settled the dispute between them amicably and sought permission vide I.A.Nos.2 and 3 of 2018 to compromise the matter and compound the offences.

In view of the compromise between the parties, the same is recorded and they are permitted to compound the offences. In the result, the I.A.Nos.1 to 3 of 2018 are allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is also allowed quashing the proceedings against the petitioner/ A.1 in C.C.No.43 of 2012 on the file of the XXII Addl.Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad. The petitioner/ A.1 is acquitted and his bail bonds shall stand cancelled. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
