HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A. SHANKAR NARAYANA CRIMINAL PETITION No.1908 OF 2017 ORDR:

The present Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 'the Code'), is filed by the petitioners - accused Nos.1 to 6 seeking to quash the proceedings in Calendar Case No.1468 of 2014 on the file of XIV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under sections 448, 506 and 509 read with 34 IPC.

2. A joint memo (S.R. No.1591 of 2017) is filed by both the parties stating that the matter has been settled between them outside the Court.

3. Both parties as well as their learned counsel are present and the parties are identified by their respective learned counsel, Sri P. Amarender Reddy and Sri Sharad Sanghi. The parties have also produced photostat copies of their respective "Aadhaar Cards" in proof of their identity.

4. On being enquired, both parties would represent that they resolved all their disputes at the intervention of elders and they wanted to live peacefully.

5. Since both parties have entered into compromise and affirmed the contents of the joint memo filed by them, compromise is

recorded as the dispute falls within the guidelines laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Gian Singh v. State of Punjab1.

6. Hence, the present Criminal Petition is allowed quashing the proceedings against the petitioners - Accused Nos.1 to 6 in Calendar Case No.1468 of 2014 on the file of XIV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad. The aforesaid joint memo filed by both parties shall form part of the record. As a sequel thereto, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the Criminal Petition stand closed.
