Heard.

The petitioner seeks rectification of entries in the revenue records and accordingly, he made a representation before the 3rd respondent on 13-03-2015. Alleging inaction, the present writ petition is filed. It is evident that the petitioner has not approached the primary authority i.e., Mandal Revenue Officer, who is empowered to correct entries in the revenue records, if there are any mistakes. Therefore, the petitioner has to first approach the competent authority by making a request in writing and if any such request is made, the 4th respondent shall examine the same on its own merits, after giving notice to the affected parties, if any, and then pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
