THE HON'BLE JUSTICE G.SRI DEVI CRIMINAL PETITION No.6317 of 2019 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., is filed by petitioners/A1 and A2 seeking to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.554 of 2019 on the file of Chaitanyapuri Police Station, Rachakonda District, registered for the offences under Sections 420, 406, 506 read with Section 34 IPC, against them. 2.

Though the petitioners/A1 and A2 have raised several grounds to quash the aforesaid proceedings, learned counsel for the petitioners requested this Court to direct the police concerned to follow the procedure under Section 41-A Cr.P.C and the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Arnesh Kumar v. State of Bihar and another1.

Acceding to the request of the learned counsel for petitioners, without going into the merits of the matter, the Criminal Petition is disposed of directing the police concerned to follow the procedure under Section 41-A Cr.P.C., and the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Arnesh Kumar's case (supra).

Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this criminal petition, shall stand closed.
