THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO W.P.No.21987 of 2019 ORDER :

The petitioner claims that he succeeded the land to an extent of Ac.0.24 gts., in Sy.No.129/4 and Acs.2.24 gts., in Sy.No.136/5 of Chittapur Village, Valigonda Mandal, Yadadri Bhuavanagiri District. 2.

The petitioner applied for mutation of his name in the revenue records. In pursuance to the application made, notice dated 09.05.2019 was issued calling upon general public or anybody interested in the property to file objections.

This writ petition is filed alleging that there is no further progress after the notice dated 09.05.2019 was issued and for no fault of the petitioner, the petitioner is subjected to lot of hardship since his name is not mutated.

Having regard to the fact that issue is pending before the 3rd respondent, Tahsildar, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the 3rd respondent, Tahsildar, is directed to finalise the proceedings for mutation of name of the petitioner in the revenue records for the subject land,

- 2 - as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
