THE HONOURABLE Dr.JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO I.A.Nos.1 and 2 of 2018 in/and Criminal Petition No.7534 of 2017 ORDER :

The petition I.A.No.1 of 2018 permitting the petitioner to represent the 1st petitioner-Syed Firasatullah @ Shahzad Aufauqui as his GPA Holder to present and record the compromise between the petitioner and the 1st respondent is allowed. The quash petition is filed by the A.1 and A.3 to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.61 of 2014 which is a split up case from C.C.No.210 of 2007, against the petitioners, on the file of the Judl. Magistrate of First Class, at Peddapalli, taken cognizance for the offence punishable under Section 498-A IPC and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, which is outcome of the report of the 1st respondent-defactocomplainant-wife of the 1st petitioner-A.1. The 2nd petitioner-A.3 is no other than the sister of A.1 in seeking to quash the proceedings filed application to compound the said offence.

The defacto-complainant-Asra Tanveer and the A.1 and A.3-the petitioners 1 and 2 supra present and stated that they settled the matter amicably outside the court and she received about 9lakhs of amount as per the terms of the compromise which is appended to the compromise petition.

Having regard to the above, I.A.No.2 of 2018 by permitting the parties to compromise is allowed and the offences supra are compounded. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is allowed by quashing the proceedings in C.C.No.61 of 2014 against the petitioners/ A.1 and A.3 and they are acquitted. Their bail bonds shall stand cancelled. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
