HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.7379 of 2016 ORDER:

This petition is filed by the petitioners/A-9 to A-13 under Sections 437 & 439 of Criminal Procedure Code seeking to grant bail in Crime No.4 of 2016 on the file of Y. Ramavaram Police Station, East Godavari District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 8(c) read with 20(b)(ii) of the NDPS Act.

Heard and perused the material available on record. It is alleged that the petitioners along with other accused were found in possession of 200 kgs of Ganja.

Since the ganja found in the above crime is commercial quantity, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners. Hence, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.
