HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITON No.18971 of 2018 ORDER:

Aggrieved by the inaction of respondent-police in registering the crime pursuant to the petitioner's complaint dated 07-05-2018 against the 4th respondent, the present writ petition is filed.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions stating that the complaint of the petitioner was examined after making GD entry on 09-05-2018 and found that the complaint of the petitioner is non-cognizable in nature and the petitioner was informed of the same. But learned counsel for the petitioner disputes the same.

In view of the same, the competent authority is directed to take action on the complaint of the petitioner in terms of Apex Court judgment in Lalitha Kumari v. Government of Uttar Pradesh1 if not already taken.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
