Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development and Sri Sampath Prabhakar Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for GHMC, appearing for the respondents.

When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned Standing Counsel that, without insisting on the remarks of the District Collector, regarding the status of the land, the respondents will process the application of the petitioner herein, subject to compliance of the other provisions of law. The said statement is recorded.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
