The present writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking to direct respondents Nos.1 to 3 to extend necessary protection to the person and property of the petitioner.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.
It is stated in the affidavit that when the unofficial respondents tried to dispossess the petitioner from the land, which is under his cultivation, he filed a suit and obtained interim injunction in his favour. On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, a criminal case was also registered. While so, as the unofficial respondents have been trying to attack the petitioner with deadly weapons, the petitioner made a complaint to the 2nd respondent, who in turn, directed the Inspector of Police, Bheemadole Police Station to prevent the unofficial respondents and take necessary action. But no action was taken so far. Again, the petitioner made a representation dated 18.7.2016 to the 3rd respondent seeking protection to his person and property from the unofficial respondents. But no action was taken so far. 4.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on merits, respondents Nos.1 to 3 are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.7.2016 and take appropriate steps in accordance with law, if there is any threat by any of the persons to the personal liberty and property of the petitioner.
