THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 22000 of 2019 ORDER:

In this Writ Petition, petitioner's allegation is that the respondents are proposing to lay a road in his land admeasuring Acs.2.03 guntas covered by Survey No.223/A1 situated at Chervapur Village, Dubbaka Mandal, Siddipet District, without issuing any proceedings or any negotiated settlement with regard to its acquisition.

Learned Standing Counsel for Dubbaka Municipality appearing for respondent No.2 submits that as on date, there is a proposal for road widening, but, nothing has been crystallized. In those circumstances, the respondent authorities are directed not to interfere with the property of the petitioner without acquiring the same either through negotiated settlement or through the proceedings initiated under the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. Subject to the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
