The present writ petition is filed against the inaction of the fourth respondent in registering First Information Report and taking up investigation pursuant to the complaint made by the petitioner on 29.08.2019, which was received by the office of the fourth respondent on 30.08.2019.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, having received written instructions dated 16.10.2019 from the Sub-Inspector of Police, Chandanagar Police Station, Cyberabad Commissionerate, would submit that on receipt of the complaint from the petitioner, a GD entry was made, an enquiry was conducted and after enquiry, a case in Crime No.545 of 2019 was registered under Sections 448 and 506 IPC on the file of the Chandanagar Police Station on 15.10.2019. In the light of the aforestated development, the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed and the cause in this writ petition does not survive for consideration.
