Aggrieved by the action of official respondents in seizing the passport of the petitioner, the present writ petition is filed.

Learned counsel for the petitioner says that criminal proceedings in Cr.No.632 of 2016 of Women Police Station, D.D. Hyderabad District which are pending against the petitioner, are quashed by this Court in view of compromise entered into between the parties in Crl.P.No.7828 of 2018 and a copy of order dated 09-08-2018 is filed to that effect. perusal of order in Crl.P.No.7828 of 2018, dated 09-08-2018, goes to show that in view of the compromise arrived at between the parties, the said criminal petition, which was filed for quashing of proceedings in Cr.No.632 of 2016, was allowed by this Court. Since it is stated that the criminal proceedings are quashed, the passport which was seized basing on the same has to be returned to the petitioner. In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of directing the official respondents to return the passport to the petitioner.
