Gattu Maisamma Temple Trust, v. The State Of Telangana

THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 8167 of 2017 ORDER:

This writ petition was filed challenging the action of respondent No.3-Station House Officer, Ghatkesar Police Station in interfering with the affairs and management of the Gattu Maisamma Temple, situated at Ghatkesar Village and Mandal, Medchal District. Learned Government Pleader for Home, on the basis of written instructions, submits that on 05.02.2017, two groups disturbed the peace and tranquility in the area and in that connection, a case in Crime No.68 of 2017 was registered under Section 107 Cr.P.C. Except registering the above crime, respondent No.3 never interfered with the affairs of the Temple. In view of the above, no further orders are necessary in the present writ petition.

The writ petition is accordingly closed. However, it is open to the petitioners to take appropriate legal proceedings in accordance with law if they claim management of the Temple.
