THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 12424 of 2011 ORDER:

The Writ Petition was filed assailing the action of the police authorities in registering Crime No.146 of 2011 on the file of the Rajendranagar Police Station,

Ranga Reddy District, and taking custody of the petitioner's car bearing No.AP28 AA 1222.

The Inspector of Police, Rajendranagar Police Station, Cyberabad Commissionerate, filed a counter affidavit stating that upon the complaint made by one S. Shiva Kumar, Police Constable, Crime No.146 of 2011 was registered on the file of the Rajendranagar Police Station in respect of the Accent Car bearing No.AP28 AA 1222 which was found abandoned in Shivarampally area. This car was stated to have been deposited in the Court of the learned VIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Rajendranagar, Cyberabad. In terms of the order passed by the said Court, the car was thereafter released and handed over to the petitioner. In the light of the aforestated developments, it is clear that the cause in this Writ Petition no longer survives for consideration. The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed.

Pending Miscellaneous Petitions shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
