ORDER:
This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief - "....Issue a Writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of MANDAMUS declaring the action of respondents in seizing the Rice Bags and the lorry bearing No: AP 27 X 2229 pertaining to the petitioner under section 7 of Essential Commodities Act, 1955 and rules framed thereunder, despite showing the original Way Bill as Normal Rice as illegal, irregular, irrational and violative of Andhra Pradesh State Public Distribution [Control] Order, 2008 and offends Articles 14 and 21 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondents to release the seized Rice Bags and lorry bearing No: AP 27 X 2229 and to pass..."
At the hearing it is brought to the notice of this Court that the 2nd respondent-Joint Collector, Prakasam District, has passed final orders on 22.02.2016. In that view of the matter nothing survives in this writ petition.
In that view of the matter, the writ petition is dismissed. The learned Government Pleader shall place on record a copy of the order passed by the 2nd respondent and serve to the petitioner as well. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. _____________________ CHALLA KODANDA RAM, J.
