The case of the petitioner is that he filed appeal on 06-12-2016 before the 1st respondent against the proceedings dated 23-12-2010, wherein the petitioner was dismissed from service. As the said appeal is not being disposed of, the present writ petition is filed. Heard both sides.

In view of the same, the 1st respondent is directed to decide the appeal filed by the petitioner on 06-12-2016 in accordance with law within a period of three (03) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
