- 2 - THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO ORDER :

This contempt case is filed to punish the respondents for wilful and deliberate violation of the order of this Court in W.P.No.4482 of 2017 dated 10.02.2017.

This Court directed respondents 4 and 5 in the writ petition to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on 03.11.2016, and reminders on 24.11.2016 and 23.12.2016. Alleging violation of the said direction, this contempt case is filed. 3.

On behalf of respondents 4 and 5 in the writ petition i.e., College management counter affidavit is filed. It is stated that on 09.05.2017 the Special Commissioner of Collegiate Education, A.P., gave permission to fill up the vacancy; on 26.05.2017 the Departmental Promotional Committee meeting was held, wherein the name of the petitioner was considered and he was recommended for appointment and the same was communicated to the Government. Thus, it is at the stage of decision to be taken by the competent authority.

In the facts of this case as stated by the respondents in the counter, it cannot be said that there is violation of the directions issued by this Court.

Accordingly, the contempt case is closed. It is needless to observe that if the petitioner has any other grievance, it is open to him to work out his remedies as available in law. There shall be no order as to costs.

- 3 - Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this contempt case shall stand closed.
