Alleging that the 3rd respondent - Circle Inspector of Police, Madikonda, Warangal Urban District, Warangal is calling the petitioner to the police station and threatening to settle the civil dispute, the present writ petition is filed. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions of the 3rd respondent stating that one Potlapally Janardhan Rao, lodged report against the petitioner and others, in Crime No.61 of 2018 under Sections 427, 506 read with 34 IPC of Madikonda Police Station, Warangal Commissionerate. Petitioner is accused No.1 in the said crime and they have issued notice under Section 41-A of Cr.P.C.

A-2 received notice and complied with the same, whereas, the petitioner from the date of registration of crime, is absconding and filed the present writ petition. It is stated that the petitioner was never called to the police station and threatened to settle the dispute. It is needless to observe that police cannot insist the parties to settle the civil dispute. Recording the statement of the 3rd respondent in the written instructions, the writ petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
