This criminal petition is filed to reduce the surety amount imposed by the Metropolitan Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge To Try The Offences Under POCSO Act, Visakhapatnam, in Crl.M.P.No.3055 of 2016, by order dated 22.11.2016, as modified in Crl.M.P.No.60 of 2017, by order dated 06.01.2017, whereby the petitioner/A.2 was directed to be released on bail on execution of personal bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- with two sureties, who shall furnish fixed deposit of Rs.50,000/- each drawn in the name of the Court of the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Araku Valley. 2.

The main contention of the petitioner before this Court is that he is a labourer and not in a position to furnish the fixed deposit. 3.

Therefore, taking into consideration the financial capacity of the petitioner, fixed deposit for an amount Rs.50,000/- is reduced to Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand only).
