THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.6495 OF 2015 ORDER:

This petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents herein in insisting upon the petitioner to pay the advertisement tax as assessed by them even without putting on notice for the display boards put on the business premises popularly known as Home town at the premises No.6-3-676, next to Hyderabad Central, Panjagutta, Hyderabad or in the alternative to remove the flexis put by the petitioner company as being illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents not to insist upon payment of advertisement fees from the petitioner for the boards erected in its own business premises.

Heard Sri J.U.M.V.Prasad, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri R.Radha Krishna Reddy, learned standing counsel for respondents 1 and 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in similar issue, this Court has allowed the writ petition in W.P.No.4595 of 2014 in terms of the order passed in W.P.No.23354 of 2009 and batch dated 31.12.2009 and the same is not disputed by the standing counsel. The fact remains that as per the judgment, the respondent Corporation cannot collect the fees. Following the same, this writ petition is also disposed of in terms of the orders of this Court dated 25.02.2014 in W.P.No.4595 of 2014. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed. ____________________ A.RAJASHEKER REDDY, J
