Smt. M. Phani Kumari, v. Government Of A.P.,
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. SHANKAR NARAYANA WRIT PETITION No.9354 OF 2004 ORDER:
No representation for the petitioners. Earlier, this Court, by order, dated 21-042015, observed thus: "No representation for the petitioners yet again. Suitable steps have not been taken for amendment of the cause title despite bifurcation of the State. State of Telangana would necessarily have to be impleaded in place of Government of Andhra Pradesh, which is not sui juris."
The writ petition is therefore adjourned to 12-6-2015 granting a last and final opportunity to the petitioners to take necessary steps in this regard. Failure to do so will entail summary dismissal of the writ petition."
2. The petitioners also do not disclose the relevant details as to making any application for regularization under G.O. Ms. No.461, dated 11-06-1999 projecting that they are entitled to avail the benefit. On the other hand, they filed a copy of notice, dated 28-03-2000, issued by respondent No.4 to one Gattu Sakkubai, who is said to be their neighbour, wherein she was directed to pay the amount for the excess square yards encroached at the rate of Rs.50/- per square yard fixed as per the basic value of 1995 as provided in the aforesaid G.O. It is, thus, seen that no such notice was issued to the petitioners, and only status-quo was granted by this Court on 25-05-2004. The petitioners appear to have lost interest with the passage of time and must have not given instructions to their counsel on record.
3. In that view of the matter, the instant Writ Petition is dismissed. No order as to costs.
4 . As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, stand disposed of.
