These Writ Petitions are filed seeking to declare Memo No.31617/Regn.II/A1/2012-14, dated 31.08.2015, issued by the 1st respondent, as illegal and arbitrary.

When these matters are taken up for consideration, it is represented by the learned counsel for parties that the subject matter of the Writ Petitions is squarely covered by the judgment of this Court in M. Mallareddy v. State of Andhra Pradesh1, wherein the impugned memo was set aside.

In view of the fact that this Court has already considered the issue in question in M. Mallareddy, the respondents are directed to examine the applications of the petitioners for renewal of notary license without reference to Memo No.31617/Regn.II/A1/2012-14, dated 31.08.2015.

The Writ Petitions are accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in these Writ Petitions shall stand closed.
