THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.1266 of 2015 ORDER:

This Writ Petition was filed challenging the action of the fourth respondent in not receiving Demand Draft No.506602, dated 23.01.2015, submitted by the petitioner for release of essential commodities.

2. A counter-affidavit is filed by the fourth respondent stating that though the petitioner was appointed as a permanent fair price shop dealer, his authorization was expired on 31.03.2014. The petitioner did not send any demand draft from the month of June, 2014 onwards and the shop was given in-charge to another dealer from the month of June, 2014 and the in-charge dealer is distributing the essential commodities.

3. In view of the expiry of authorization of the petitioner as on 31.03.2014, the petitioner is not entitled for the relief claimed in the Writ Petition. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
