THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.13587 OF 2017 ORDER:

Petitioner retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 31.07.2015. The grievance of the petitioner in this Writ Petition is that his retirement benefits, difference in salary, gratuity, encashment of earned leave and other arrears are not released and paid to him causing lot of hardship. Ventilating his grievance, the petitioner submitted representation on 08.03.2016 to the Managing Director, Andhra Pradesh State Housing Corporation Limited, Hyderabad. Alleging inaction on the said representation, this Writ Petition is filed. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn the attention of this Court to the letter, dated 16.03.2016, addressed by the Joint Collector to the Managing Director of the respondent - Corporation, which would disclose that earlier disciplinary action against the petitioner ended in imposing punishment of withholding of one annual grade increment without cumulative effect and punishment period was completed and it appears that there are no other disciplinary proceedings pending against him. 3.

Having regard to the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Managing Director of the respondent Corporation to examine the grievance of the petitioner as ventilated in his representation, dated 08.03.2016, duly taking note of the letter of the Joint Collector, dated 16.03.2016, take appropriate decision and communicate the same to the petitioner by a reasoned order, as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six weeks

from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the Managing Director is convinced that erroneously the benefits of the petitioner are not paid and he is entitled to the said benefits, as claimed by him, and there is no impediment for granting such benefits, he shall take steps for release of the same, to which the petitioner is entitled. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
