The present Criminal Revision Case is filed against the judgment passed in Crl.A.No.23 of 2013 dated 5.12.2013 on the file of the Court of the Additional District and Sessions Judge, Vikarabad, R.R. District, modifying the sentence from that of simple imprisonment and fine to that of fine of Rs.20,000/- and in default of payment of fine to undergo simple imprisonment for a period of three months.

Since there is a delay of 341 days in filing the present Criminal Revision Case, I.A.No.1 of 2014 (Crl.RC.M.P.No.3717 of 2014) was filed.

In the affidavit filed in support of the said application, except stating that due to financial condition he could not engage a counsel and prefer this revision, nothing has been stated. When the delay is abnormal, almost about a year, the petitioner is expected to give proper explanation for the said delay.

In that view of the matter, this Court is of the opinion that the petitioner miserably failed to explain the delay properly.

Accordingly, I.A.No.1 of 2014 (Crl.RC.M.P.No.3717 of 2014) is dismissed.

Consequent to the dismissal of I.A.No.1 of 2014 (Crl.RC.M.P.No.3717 of 2014), Criminal Revision Case is hereby rejected.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed.
