HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.41497 of 2016 ORDER:

This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is preferred by the petitioner seeking to declare the inaction of respondents 2 and 3 in issuing pattadar pass book, title deed and making entries in revenue website as illegal and arbitrary. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue for respondents. With their consent, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

The case of the petitioner, in a nutshell, is that after death of his mother on 28.03.2011, he being the sole surviving legal heir inherited the subject property i.e. agricultural land admeasuring Acs.6.08 gts in survey No.139/1 situated at Garepally Revenue Village, Kataram Mandal, Jayshankar District Bhupalpally. It is his case that inspite of making several representations to respondent Nos.2 and 3 for issuance of pass book and title deed in his name in respect of subject land, no action is being taken. Aggrieved over the same, present writ petition is filed. It is to be noted that a specific procedure has been contemplated for issuance of Pattadar Pass Books and title deeds and for changing names in the revenue website. Merely submitting a representation may not be sufficient to get the necessary relief. In that view of the matter, the petitioner is directed to file an appropriate application in prescribed proforma before the appropriate authority, in which event, the same shall be dealt with

by the authorities concerned, in accordance with law, at the earliest.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
