ORDER
This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the action of respondents in continuing the rowdy sheet opened against the petitioner in the 3rd respondent police station in spite of his acquittal from the criminal cases and though no case is registered against him, as illegal and arbitrary.

The case of petitioner is that the third respondent opened a rowdy sheet against him and his elder brother in the year 2005 and in all cases, he was acquitted by the competent Court after full fledged trial. Though the petitioner submitted a representation on 01.05.2016, the respondents did not give any reply. Hence, he filed the present writ petition.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the matter, I deem it appropriate to direct the petitioner to make a representation to the 2nd and 3rd respondents disclosing the acquittal of cases against him and for removal of his name from the rowdy sheet opened against him before the 3rd respondent police station, within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and on such representation, the 2nd and 3rd respondents are directed to dispose of the same in accordance with law.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
