Heard Sri K.V.R. Krishna Sharma, learned counsel appearing for the

petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies appearing for the respondents.

2. The fair price shop of the petitioner was inspected by the authorities on 19-12-2014 and the stocks were verified. Having noticed certain variations, the 3rd respondent-Revenue Divisional Officer (Civil Supplies), Guntur vide proceedings dated 08-01-2015, issued a Show Cause Notice to the petitioner directing to submit her explanation to the show cause notice. Thereafter, the 3rd respondent conducted enquiry and cancelled the authorisation of the petitioner. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the enquiry has not been conducted in accordance with the procedure and therefore, the order is liable to be suspended in the present writ petition.

3. Among the variations noticed, there is shortage of 113 litres of kerosene and the 3rd respondent-RDO passed a final order cancelling the authorisation of the petitioner. The petitioner has an effective and efficacious remedy by way of an appeal to the Joint Collector, Guntur district.

4. The petitioner is, therefore, directed to file an appeal before the Joint Collector (Civil Supplies), Guntur district and the appellate authority is directed to dispose of the appeal within a period of two months from the date of presentation of the appeal. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. No costs. ___________________ R.KANTHA RAO, J.
