HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.13505 of 2015 ORDER:

This petition is filed by the petitioner - Accused under Sections 437 & 439 of Criminal Procedure Code seeking to grant bail to him in Crime No.22 of 2014 on the file of Mandapeta Town Police Station, East Godavari District, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 489-B, 489-C r/w 34 IPC.

Heard and perused the material available on record. It is alleged that the petitioner was found in possession of huge number of fake currency notes and he was released on bail and he executed sureties also and as per the directions, he also appeared before the Court. On the date of his appearance, the investigating officer filed an application informing the Court that fake sureties were furnished by the petitioner. Considering the same, the Court below remanded the petitioner-accused to judicial custody. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the view that the petitioner is not entitled for bail at this stage.
