SMT JUSTICE T.RAJANI CRIMINAL PETITION No.8721 of 2013 ORDER:

This petition is filed seeking for quash of the proceedings against the petitioner, who is the sole accused, in Crime No.203 of 2013 on the file of Chilakaluripet Urban Police Station, Guntur District. The offences alleged against the petitioner are under Sections 323 and 506 IPC.

Heard the counsel for the petitioner and the Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent.

The Public Prosecutor files a memo stating that investigation is completed and charge sheet was filed vide C.C.No.266 of 2015 on the file of the Principal District Munsif Magistrate, Chilakaluripet, and the same ended in acquittal by virtue of the judgment, dated 12.07.2016, passed by the said Magistrate.

Hence, in view of the above, no cause of action survives for adjudication and no further orders are necessary. 5.

Accordingly, the criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
