THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 9101 of 2015 ORDER:

The petitioner approached the 2nd respondent-Joint Collector challenging the order dated 18.06.2008 passed by the 3rd respondent-Revenue Divisional Officer, whereby and whereunder, the 3rd respondent refused to grant patta in favour of the petitioner after cancellation of patta granted in favour of the original assignee. The 2nd respondent-Joint Collector disposed of the revision petition by order dated 16.01.2013 observing as under: "In view of the multifarious legal dimensions involved in the issue, I deem it appropriate to remand the case to the Sub Collector, Madanapalle. The Sub Collector shall undertake a comprehensive examination of the multitude of legal intricacies involved in the matter including the W.P. pending before the Hon'ble High Court and shall take appropriate necessary action as per the various rules and regulations in force. It is needless to state that the Sub Collector shall take appropriate action as expeditiously as possible, in any case, not exceeding eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order. Accordingly, this revision petition is disposed off."

2. Now, the grievance of the petitioner is though more than 2 years have passed, nothing has been done by the 3rd respondent-Sub Collector. Considering the limited relief claimed before this Court, I deem it appropriate to direct the 3rd respondent to pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to all the parties concerned.

3. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
