This writ petition is filed seeking Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents 3 and 4 in not taking steps for removal of illegal encroachment/constructions made by the respondents 5 to 7 in the premises earmarked for construction of Aswarthamma Katta and Choultry in Vajrakarur Village and Mandal, Anantapur District, as illegal and arbitrary and for a consequential direction to the respondents 3 and 4 to remove the illegal constructions made therein.

The case of the petitioner is that respondents 5 to 7 are making illegal constructions in the land earmarked for construction of Aswarthamma Katta and Choultry in Vajrakarur Village and Mandal, Anantapur District. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition is filed. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri G.Sheshadri, learned Standing counsel for respondents 3 and 4. In the instant case, the petitioner has not approached authorities before filing the writ petition and it is not his case that even after making representation to the respondent authorities, they are not taking action.

Since the petitioner straightaway filed the present writ petition without approaching the authorities in respect of his grievance, the writ petition is dismissed. However, petitioner can approach the concerned authority seeking redressal of his grievance. No costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, pending, if any shall stand closed.
